Robin Langlais, POP Secretary, retired Library/Media Specialist

Robin Langlais retired after 35 years working as a library/media specialist in junior high and middle schools.

She earned her B.A. in Library Science/Educational Media K-12 from Ohio Dominican College and her M.S. in Educational Technology from Cleveland State University. She began at Center Junior High School and was instrumental in the writing, implementation and administration of a 5-year Venture Capital Grant during the district’s transition to middle schools in the Strongsville City Schools.

Robin received several grants from the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation to introduce and generate enthusiasm for series fiction into both middle schools.

She has been involved with Power of the Pen for 30 years, acting as a writing coach and computer operator at District, Regional and State Tournaments, now as Secretary of the Board of Trustees and the Central area Regional Director. She lives with her husband, Marc, in Medina, Ohio.
